Seeking applicants statewide for Tile/Marble/Terrazo Setter apprentices.

BAC Local 2 offers a streamlined entry for all H2H applicants. We try and make it very easy to get you trained and out on to the job site as fast as possible. 

This is for people who want to get into a union apprenticeship program and drastically improve their lifelong earning potential and quality of life. 

We are currently getting ready to start interviews for new apprentices and direct hires in the trowel trades and are specifically looking for people who would be interested in learning how to work with concrete and finish both flat and poured concrete walls. We have union contractors throughout the state of Michigan that are looking for new apprentices and individuals who have prior experience. 

• Average Starting pay is $22 per hour. Can be higher with experience. 


• Apprentices get regular 6 month pay increases throughout the program. 


• Veterans with GI Bill can receive E5 with defendant BAH per month on top of your hourly wages

Basic Requirements: 

• Must be a minimum of 17 years old at the time of application


• Must pass a drug test  


• Must be physically able to perform the work of the trade  


• Must understand the importance of punctuality and good attendance  


• Must have a great attitude and willingness to learn
