BAC Local 2 Michigan has a thriving apprenticeship program over 700 strong with several crafts to choose from Bricklayer/Refractory Specialist; Tile, Marble, Terrazzo Finishers, Pointer/Cleaners/Caulkers (Masonry Restoration), and Cement Finishers.

BAC Local 2 offers a streamlined entry for all H2H applicants. We try and make it very easy to get you trained and out on to the job site as fast as possible.
This is for people who want to get into a union apprenticeship program and drastically improve their lifelong earning potential and quality of life.
We are currently getting ready to start interviews for new apprentices and direct hires in the trowel trades and are specifically looking for people who would be interested in masonry construction, restoration, and preservation. We have union contractors throughout the state of Michigan that are looking for new apprentices and individuals who have zero or prior experience.
- Average Starting pay is $24 per hour. Can be higher with experience.
- Apprentices get regular 6 month pay increases throughout the program.
- Veterans with GI Bill can receive E5 with defendant BAH per month on top of your hourly wages
