Data Entry Clerk (Remote)
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in our digital systems from a remote location. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input, update, and maintain data in company databases and systems
- Review and verify data for completeness and accuracy
- Identify errors and correct inconsistencies in data entries
- Maintain organized digital records and files
- Retrieve and provide data as requested by team members or management
- Perform regular data backups and ensure data security
- Generate reports and summaries when required
- Adhere to data privacy policies and confidentiality standards
- Communicate effectively with team members via email, chat, or video conferencing tools
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar administrative role
- Excellent typing speed and high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) or Google Workspace
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home workspace
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications are a plus)
