We are seeking an experienced Tooling Design / Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design and development of precision tooling required to manufacture this new product at scale. This is a critical hands-on role supporting the transition of a promising new technology into full-rate production.Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop high-quality tooling for new product scaling and manufacturing processes- Create detailed parametric CAD models and manufacturing drawings- Apply GD&T and ANSI drawing standards to ensure manufacturability and precision- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for tooling- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to optimize tooling designs- Support FMEA development and quality assurance processes for new tooling- Troubleshoot tooling-related issues and drive continuous improvementRequired Qualifications:- Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field- 10-25 years of progressive experience in tooling design and manufacturing engineering- Mastercam - Strong proficiency required- Advanced proficiency in GD&T and ANSI drawing standards- Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques- Solid understanding of material properties and selection- Experience with FMEAs and quality assurance processes- Familiarity with MIL-STDs- Working knowledge of heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and structural mechanicsPreferred Qualifications:- Siemens NX experience (highly desired)- Machining experienceIdeal Candidate Attributes:- Highly motivated self-starter with strong ownership- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWhat We Offer:- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology with significant growth potential- Direct impact on scaling a new product from development to production- Collaborative, flat, and technically excellent work environment- Competitive compensation (commensurate with experience)Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
