On the Job Training to fabricate and install industrial/commercial HVAC sheet metal ductwork and related components and/or architectural sheet metal panels.
You will learn by hands on, On-the-Job training how to become a craftsman/woman in the skilled trade of Sheet Metal. You will learn to read blueprints, fabricate ductwork and architectural sheet metal panels out of flat stock of sheet metal. You will learn how to weld, you will learn the basics of HVAC service, you will be trained in OSHA 30-hour safety course, training in specialized HVAC fire and smoke control components, foreman training and much more.
Requirements
17 years of age
Ability to safely maneuver yourself around a construction site while carrying 50 pounds.
Ability to walk up and down ladders while carrying tools/hardware/materials.
Ability to travel from jobsite to jobsite.
