Probationary Apprentice
Responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance and repair of the passenger and freight elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters and moving sidewalks under the direction of the Mechanic.
4 Year Apprenticeship Program with 8000 on the job training hours to become an Elevator Mechanic. Classroom setting is one night 4 hours per week for a total of 576 classroom hours. You can use your GI Bill while going through the program. After working 6 months at 100 hours per month, benefit package will start. This includes full family health insurance, vision, dental, mental health along with pension and annuity/401K.
