Electrical Apprentice

This is a five-year Registered Apprenticeship that offers Free Tuition and Earn-As-You-Learn opportunities. GI Bill eligible.


Apprentices attend school every other week and work in the field for one of our contractors the rest of the time. Apprentices get paid their regular 8 hour pay for attending school. It is a five year full-time day school program. Classes are from 7am to 3:30pm. Advancement and pay raises are given as the apprentice progresses. Full family benefits are provided along with Pension and Annuity contractor contributions for retirement.


Upon completion, the student will be classified as a Journeyman Wireman with the Local Union, will have NO STUDENT LOAN DEBT, and will have made upwards of $250,000 - $300,000 in wages while attending school. 



Requirements


  • Must be 18 years old. 

  • Must provide a copy of your High School diploma (or GED with scores attached) and a sealed transcript from High School or College showing one credit of Algebra, or greater, with a passing score of "C" or better 

  • Must pass the Electrical Industry Aptitude Test with a score of "4" or greater. Aptitude test will be scheduled after the application is completed.
