The finest electrical workers in the country receive their training through the Electrical Training ALLIANCE (ALLIANCE) of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the Internation Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
It is a model education partnership that produces the best-trained, most up-to-date electrical apprentices and journeyman in the country.All of the $100 million annually spent is privately funded.
The LU112-NECA Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC)serves its IBEW and NECA members by providing classroom training and administration for apprenticeships in the electrical industry.
Veterans with electrical experience in the military may be eligible to apply at any given time and can go direct to interview.

Requirements
Minimum Age: 18 Years old at the time of application completion.
Education: High School Graduate or GED with a minimum score of250 or 2500 or a High School Equivalency of 600 or higher after January 1,2014, OR in lieu of a diploma or GED, a two-year associate degree or higher
Math:
Must have completed one (1) full credit of high school algebra, integrated Math 2, orequivalent post-high school algebra course with a 'C' or better.
If you do not meet this requirement, you can complete the online NJATC Tech Math Course at http://www.njatc.utk.edu/
Physical:
Capable of performing the duties and work associated with the electrical trade,including but not limited to, ability to climb and work from ladders, scaffolds,poles, and towers of various heights; and ability to crawl and work in confined spaces such attics, manholes, and crawlspaces.
Other:Valid Driver's License, Birth Certificate, Official High School Transcript,Discharge Papers - DD214 (if applicable)
