This is a court position primarily handling the Legal 2000 process working Monday through Friday, 8 Hour Days.
Job Summary and Qualifications
- You will work as member of the intake department in support of the department and also be responsible for the patient grievances acting as the unit patient advocate
- Other duties include answering telephone calls, front desk reception, assisting with visitor and patient check-in and clerical duties within the intake and other departments as assigned
- You will ensure timely and accurate communication of patient information with all members of the treatment team and the mental health court system, and assist supervisor in maintaining efficiency on the unit
What qualifications you will need:
- High School Graduate/ GED required
- College graduate preferred in social sciences (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, etc), or healthcare administration or related field from an accredited school
- Required- Demonstrated Microsoft office proficiency
- Required- Experience with telephone systems
- Preferred- One year previous experience in Behavioral Health hospital/medical setting
- CPI certification within 30 days of hire
