Appleton/Oshkosh Electrical Apprenticeship is accepting Applications
IBEW 577 has been serving Appleton, Wisconsin and surrounding counties including Calumet, Outagamie, Waupaca, Waushara, Winnebago, Marquette, and Green Lake for over 90 years. Our local has kept the area moving and since 1930 and has grown to over 450 members locally.
Applications are accepted year round from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. each workday. Must be completed in person at:

Requirements
BASIC MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO QUALIFY FOR AN INTERVIEW:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the Time of Assignment
- Must be a HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE or have a General Equivalency Diploma. High School Seniors in their final semester are also encouraged to apply
- Must have one (1) year of high school ALGEBRA with a passing grade of "C" or one (1) post high school ALGEBRA course with a passing grade of "C"
- Must attain the established norm on the Electrical Training Alliance Apprentice Selection Test Battery. Arrangements for testing are made by the Committee
- Must present or sign a statement that the applicant is physically able to perform electrical construction work with or without reasonable accommodation. Applicants wo reach employable status must successfully pass a drug screen test before placement in the field
- Must provide official High School transcript(s) and (if minimum math requirements listed elsewhere) post High School transcript(s) showing courses and grades attained. Transcripts must indicate Algebra or list classes that are equivalent to one full year of Algebra.
- Must have the ability to get to and from work and school on a timely and consistent basis.
