What we currently do for veterans at our company
HSBC’s “Valor” Employee Resource Group is dedicated to supporting military service members, veterans, and their families. These efforts include focusing on such areas as:
1. HSBC’s recruitment and employment of veteran and military service members (including National Guard / Reserve)
2. HSBC’s integration, retention, and career development of veteran and military service members
3. HSBC’s veteran and military service member-oriented volunteerism and charity work.
Recently HSBC has hosted resume writing workshops, mentored transitioning service members into meaningful careers through American Corporate Partners grant recipient, supported multiple volunteering events with Volunteers of America housing facilities, created a pathway for financial crime careers with ACAMS certification scholarships, and partnered with Bob Woodruff Foundation’s Veterans on Wall Street and Stand Up For Heroes.
